Finally, after three hours, the doctor returned to Lily’s room. He was shocked to see Pradeep sitting next to her, but not surprised. He had noticed Pradeep’s great love for his wife when she had spoken to him. So he finally allowed him to stay with his wife

Lily’s eyes lit up when she saw her husband and smiled faintly at him. Pradeep rushed to her side and took her hand. He was overcome with emotion at the sight of his wife and their newborn. Lily longed to see her babies and Pradeep gently placed them in her arms. She hugged them tightly to her chest and tears welled up in her eyes. She was overjoyed to finally hold her babies in her arms after what felt like an eternity
