Suddenly, a man, appearing to be around fifty, rose from his seat and shouted, “Just get up and leave already, you old lady!” His outburst ignited a chain reaction. Within moments, nearly fifteen others had sprung to their feet, hurling cruel insults at Cora and demanding she “just leave.”

She felt the weight of the entire plane’s hostility bearing down on her—a truly dreadful sensation. Fortunately, the pilot, having overheard the vile threats, emerged from the cockpit with a concerned expression. Without hesitation, he approached the frustrated flight attendant and leaned in to whisper something in her ear. Moments later, she followed him to the galley, her demeanor tense but attentive.
