There is a legitimate reason why the LGBT community does not especially enjoy country music: some country fans are still not very accepting of same-gender partnerships. Chely Wright was the first female country music artist to come out of the closet in public, making headlines in 2010. Chely married Lauren Blitzer, a considerably younger director of marketing at Sony Music, a year later, and the two have been blissfully married for almost nine years. George Samuel and Everett Joseph, identical twin boys, were a very unique addition to the Blitzer-Wright family in 2013.

Sara Gilbert (44) & Linda Perry (54) – Happily Married Since 2014
Sara Gilbert confirmed her departure from The Talk in 2019. Her objective? to spend more time with her family, particularly her lovely wife, musician Linda Perry, and their young son, Rhodes. A number of well-known ’80s artists, including Terri Nunn from the band Berlin, attended the elegant LGBT couple’s completely vegan wedding in 2014. Gilbert’s previous marriage to television producer Ali Adler produced two additional children. Gilbert gained popularity for her appearances in the sitcoms Roseanne and The Big Bang Theory. Sawyer and Levi Hank are her and Adler’s children.
