Nine-year-old Sarah was walking in the woods when she spotted a strange creature moving among the fallen leaves and initially thought it was an injured lizard, so she carefully picked it up and took it home. On the way to the vet
Sarah’s parents, Jane and Tom, decided to drive her and the mysterious creature to the nearest veterinary clinic. The drive was filled with a mixture of curiosity and concern as Sarah gently held the small animal and felt its tiny movements in her hands. “It’s probably just a rare lizard,” Jane tried to reassure her, and Tom nodded, although his gaze remained focused on the road. Finally, the clinic appeared in front of them – and looked more menacing than ever.
