Her name had been added to the waiting list by the doctor, and if all went well, she would recover. But it was all about to collapse. Prom was just a few months away, so Lisa was sad even though she should have been relieved. Additionally, she was aware of the high cost of a transplant and questioned if her parents could afford it. But as the days went by, she began to consider how she could assist her parents in paying for it.

The last thing she had to worry about was prom. Lisa created a Go-Fund-Me page for herself and requested her mother to bring her phone to her next visit. In the hopes that someone would help her family, she shared her experience with the world. Before long, the entire school was able to view the page. Being aware of Lisa’s strong desire to attend prom, they launched advertisements for her.
