While Steve Irwin was known for his dangerous encounters with wild animals, ironically this lady is wearing an Irwinland pink top, while wading into a dangerous lake. As she posed happily for the camera, she probably didn’t realize that an alligator was lurking in the water, waiting to photo-bomb the picture. Thankfully she lived to tell the tale, but if this is any more reason not to wade into a lake for a photo, then we don’t know what is.

In another jaw-dropping encounter, this whale was close to finding out what this diver’s flippers taste like. It was a close call, but we’re happy to report that the our slippery ocean friend made the decision to stick to his diet of other sea creatures rather than this diver. We’re just hoping this diver played it safer after this dangerous encounter! It was actually too close for words!
