How’d He Land That?
Now this is what you call a brutal and nail-biting crash. It happened in 1998 at the Goodwood Revival race and the driver, Nigel Corner was dramatically ejected from the racing car as it flipped sensationally onto it’s side. Unbelievably, Nigel survived the crash and later gave an interview to Motor Sports Magazine saying, “those old Ferraris are bloody strong, but if I’d been belted in I’d be a dead man now.” We can’t think of any other scenario on earth where not actually wearing your safety belt would save your life!?

This is something they definitely didn’t tell you in the brochure when you signed up for an airboat ride through swampy waters. Maybe the guide told you it was safe, but sometimes in life you can’t predict everything, and the unexpected can still catch you by surprise. Like in this case, where the airboat suddenly capsized into the alligator-infested swamp. Understandably, the tourists were in a state of shock as they plunged into the water, but in the end the guide managed to get them all to safety! Phew!
