An angry manager
Still fuming, Sarah stormed back into the kitchen, only to be confronted by an irritated manager. “Where were you, Sarah?” the manager demanded. Taking a deep breath to steady herself, Sarah quickly composed an explanation. She needed to convince her manager that she had only stepped away to offer the groom a glass of water to calm his nerves.

A close call
Fortunately, the manager believed her, sparing her from being escorted off the premises—for now. What she was about to do, however, would almost certainly get her thrown out of the wedding. That is, if the wedding managed to continue at all. She just needed to bide her time and wait for the perfect moment.
