Nena and Philipp Palm – 24 years
Nena has always been an unconventional and modern woman, so it’s not surprising that she doesn’t find the idea of marriage credible. So she has been living with her 12 years younger colleague from the music scene, Philipp Palm, for around two decades without getting married. Nena already had twins when she got together with Philipp; together they became parents to two more sons. Nena has sold around 25 million records in her career and was very successful not only in Germany but also internationally with hits such as “99 Luftballons”. She also sang her biggest hit, “99 Red Balloons”, once again in English.

Christoph Waltz is currently one of the best-known and most successful actors in the German-speaking world. Although his career took off many years after he entered the business, it only really took off when Quentin Tarantino recognized his talent and hired him for films such as “Inglorious Basterds” and “Django Unchained”. Born in Austria, he has even had his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame since 2014. Christoph was married to an American psychologist in the early years of his success, but the marriage broke down after 17 years. It is unclear whether Christoph’s resounding success played a role in this. He is now married to the German costume designer Judith Holste and has a child with her.
