As hard as he could, Christopher ran as he felt chills going down his spine. The only thing that happens in his mind is that he thinks that there was something really wrong with the place. His mind told him to keep still, but he was pulled to the mine entrance by his body. He had clutched his chest and collapsed by the time he got out.

He really ought to have known that something was so right that everything was wrong. An undisturbed mine of gold was nearly too good to be true. He pulled himself together after that and then went to his place. He now understands why, even though it had gold to sell, the laborers all left the mine.
