Things started to look pretty grim for the show after actress Eliza Dushku exposed the harassment she received from Michael Weatherly. The Boston Globe op-ed revealed that she called her job “one of the cruelest, most aggressive humiliations I have ever experienced.” Despite all the controversy regarding its lead star, the show was renewed for a fourth season. Since then, the show has suffered a drop in its ratings and Stephen Spielberg, previously an executive producer on set, cut all ties with the drama.
