Raising Their Paws
Don’t dismiss your dog’s (typically young puppy) paw raises. Whatever you do, give that damn paw some attention. They’re making an attempt to make a request. They’re trying to get your attention or they want to play. At the very least, let your dog know that this isn’t the appropriate moment for playtime. Sometimes that small amount of focus is all that’s needed (it’s amazing how similar these creatures are to our children). An adult dog will typically indicate that it is hungry or that the water bowl is empty by placing its paw on your lap.

The Puppy Dog Eyes
It’s not all that different from when your teen is a baby or toddler when your dog is still a puppy. The eyes convey everything. Our hearts are warmed by those enormous puppy eyes. What is meant by that expression? Apparently not much. similar to when a little child looks at you. Most mornings when you take your dog out of the house, he will be at ease. They are familiar with the pattern. It’s time to go now, but they know you’ll be back. The amusing thing is that those puppy eyes never truly go away. For all eternity, your dog will use those bad boys as leverage.
