Dogs Eating Grass
It is rather typical for dogs to eat grass. Sadly, this usually indicates that they are either trying to improve their food digestion (grass aids in this process since it is essentially fiber) or that they are not getting enough of a particular component from their diet. It could also be an indication of intestinal worms. Alternatively, it can just be a sign of heat exhaustion and their attempt to stay hydrated by swilling down whatever water remains on the grass. Either way, it could be a good idea to take your dog for a vet checkup if they start doing this too frequently. You never know what the root problem could be. Precaution is preferable to regret.

When Your Dog Displays Compassion
When you observe your dog expressing empathy, it means they are feeling empathy. Dogs can detect’strange’ emotions in the air, particularly anger or melancholy. When your dog detects that you are distressed, they will most likely seek to soothe you in any way they can. If you’re feeling bad and your dog is next to you, staring at you, licking you, or even resting his head or paw on you, he’s simply letting you know that he cares. Or, if you’re having a tender moment like these two, it counts too.
