Not all actors’ children choose acting, and Marina Foïs’ son Lazare Lartigau is a case in point. Rather than follow in his father’s footsteps in the world of cinema, he took up karting. At just 16, he’s already well known in the sport. In November 2019, he took part in the French Championship at Saint-Amand. Lazare Lartigau has no interest in cinema, and according to his mother, he even hates going to the movies.

Dimitri Rassam was born in 1981 to actress Carole Bouquet and producer Jean-Pierre Rassam. After the death of his father in 1985, he was raised by his mother and stepfather, photographer Francis Giacobetti. Growing up in an environment steeped in culture, he developed a passion for cinema, which he eventually chose as a career. However, unlike his mother, who is an actress, he opted for film production, like his father. At just 23, he set up his own production company, which he named Chapter 2.
