Boat out of sight
After regaining his composure, Ethan turned around in the water, hoping to find the team’s boat. To his shock, however, the boat was missing. “What? Where are you?” he shouted in desperation, spinning around in search of an answer. It was then that he realized, with a shiver, that he was alone, adrift in the vast sea. The relief he had felt soon turned to dread as the harsh reality of his situation hit him. His heart was racing as his eyes scanned the infinite horizon, looking for any sign of help.

Desperate, Ethan bobbed in the water, his eyes fixed on the horizon, hoping to spot the familiar outline of his team’s boat. “They’ve got to be around here somewhere,” he muttered to himself, trying to shield his eyes from the blinding glare of the sun. He peered out over the endless ocean, but no matter how hard he strained his vision, he couldn’t see any sign of his team. The waves swirled around him, making him feel tiny, lost in the immensity of the sea.
